Overview

The clinics are ranked separately within two groups. “Best” reflects an editorial selection based on published information, not a measured difference in clinical outcomes or a guarantee of suitability.

Introduction

Heavy-looking eyelids can involve excess skin, a low eyelid margin (ptosis), a lowered brow or a combination. The plastic surgery list covers surgical assessment; the aesthetic list covers non-surgical assessment of skin laxity or brow-related hooding. These treatments address different problems. For background, read our Sagging Eyelids review and treatment guide.

Plastic surgery clinic reviews

1. Allure Plastic Surgery

Allure Plastic Surgery publishes a dedicated ptosis correction guide naming Dr Samuel Ho. It describes assessment of the cause and severity of upper-eyelid drooping and explains that treatment depends on the underlying problem. Its information covers eyelid measurements, surgical correction and postoperative care.

Before booking: Ask whether the drooping comes from the lifting mechanism, excess skin or both, and how this affects the operation.

2. Polaris Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Polaris Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery publishes ptosis and droopy-eyelid guides covering eyelid measurements, levator function and possible surgical approaches. It distinguishes ptosis correction from removal of excess eyelid skin. The information also discusses undercorrection, overcorrection and the possibility of further treatment.

Before booking: Clarify which structures need correction and request an itemised quotation, including anaesthesia, facility fees and reviews.

3. Dr Leo Aesthetic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Dr Leo Kah Woon’s practice publishes a ptosis surgery guide describing assessment of eyelid drooping, its effect on vision and the function of the eyelid muscles. The practice’s surgical information explains that the approach is tailored to the severity and cause of the problem.

Before booking: Discuss eyelid and brow position, visual symptoms, expected symmetry and how postoperative concerns would be reviewed.

4. Sweng Plastic Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery

Dr Ng Siew Weng’s practice distinguishes true ptosis, involving the eyelid’s lifting mechanism, from excess upper-eyelid skin. Its guides explain that these can occur together and describe assessment of eyelid position and lifting function. Upper blepharoplasty and ptosis correction are discussed separately.

Before booking: Ask whether skin removal alone is sufficient or whether the eyelid’s lifting mechanism also needs correction.

5. Dream Plastic Surgery

Dream Plastic Surgery publishes a droopy-eyelid correction guide comparing suture-based and incisional surgical approaches. Its profile of A/Prof Vincent Yeow lists ptosis correction among his procedures. The information provides a basis for discussing how the severity of drooping affects the treatment plan.

Before booking: Confirm the operating surgeon, why a particular approach is recommended and which follow-up visits are included.

6. MH Plastic Surgery

MH Plastic Surgery’s ptosis repair page describes drooping caused by changes in the structures that open the upper eyelid. It explains the role of surgical repair and identifies Dr Martin Huang’s work in upper-eyelid surgery. The page emphasises careful planning of the correction.

Before booking: Discuss the intended lid height, remaining asymmetry, eye closure and how an adjustment would be handled.

7. Colin Tham Plastic Surgery

Dr Colin Tham’s practice publishes a dedicated ptosis surgery guide. It describes assessment of the cause and severity of drooping before adjusting the structures responsible for eyelid elevation. Its wider eyelid guidance distinguishes ptosis repair from upper blepharoplasty for excess skin.

Before booking: Ask which procedure addresses your diagnosis and what improvement in function and appearance is realistic.

8. Shens Clinic

Shens Clinic’s incisional upper blepharoplasty page describes removal of excess upper-eyelid skin and fat. It covers consultation, medical history, suitability and recovery. Its separate explanation of blepharoplasty and ptosis repair helps distinguish excess skin from a problem with the eyelid’s lifting muscle.

Before booking: Clarify whether the proposed procedure removes excess skin, repairs ptosis or combines separate operations.

9. WC Ong Plastic Reconstructive Surgery

WC Ong Plastic Reconstructive Surgery’s eyelid guide describes blepharoplasty to remove excess skin and fat from the upper or lower eyelids. It discusses consultation, wound care and follow-up. Readers seeking treatment for a low upper-lid margin should clarify whether a separate ptosis assessment is needed.

Before booking: Ask whether your concern is skin hooding or true ptosis and which operation is being quoted.

Sources: Eyelid Surgery

10. Leslie Kuek Plastic Surgery

Dr Leslie Kuek’s eyelid and eyebag page describes blepharoplasty for sagging skin and prominent fat around the eyelids. It also discusses brow lifting where sagging eyebrows contribute to the appearance. This provides a starting point for assessing upper-eyelid hooding in the context of the wider brow area.

Before booking: Discuss how much of the heaviness comes from the brow, eyelid skin or lid position before choosing surgery.

Aesthetic clinic reviews

1. The Clifford Clinic

The Clifford Clinic publishes a Thermage FLX Eyes page describing radiofrequency treatment for lax skin around the eyes and upper-eyelid hooding. Its information also discusses other eye-area treatments. The relevant consultation is whether skin tightening can meaningfully address the individual concern.

Before booking: Ask whether the issue is skin laxity or ptosis, what improvement is realistic and how the eyes are protected.

2. Mizu Aesthetic Clinic

Mizu Aesthetic Clinic’s droopy-eyelid page describes non-surgical options, including Thermage Eye, for mild to moderate eyelid sagging. These options are presented as approaches to skin laxity and the appearance of the eye area. A clinical assessment should distinguish those concerns from a low eyelid margin.

Before booking: Ask which tissue the proposed treatment targets and when the doctor would recommend an eye or surgical specialist.

3. Kowayo Aesthetic Clinic

Kowayo Aesthetic Clinic publishes a Thermage Eye guide covering skin tightening around the upper and lower eyelids. Its droopy-eyelid page discusses selection according to the degree of sagging and individual anatomy. The proposed benefit should be assessed in relation to skin laxity rather than assumed to correct every cause of drooping.

Before booking: Clarify whether treatment is directed at the eyelid skin or brow and what outcome would justify repeat sessions.

4. The Skin Longevity Clinic

The Skin Longevity Clinic publishes a XERF eye-treatment guide by Dr Rachel Ho covering mild skin laxity, brow heaviness and the wider eye area. It distinguishes these concerns from a low eyelid margin or vision-related drooping, which require separate assessment. The guide explains how treatment planning depends on the cause of the heaviness.

Before booking: Ask which area will be treated, what improvement is realistic and whether a surgical or eye-specialist assessment is more appropriate.

5. SW1 Clinic

SW1 Clinic’s Thermatight Eyes guide focuses on skin laxity in the upper and lower eyelids. It distinguishes skin laxity from brow descent and describes the use of ocular shields during treatment. This entry concerns the clinic’s aesthetic service rather than its separate plastic surgery service.

Before booking: Discuss whether skin tightening is sufficient and how brow position or excess skin may limit the result.

Sources: Thermatight Eyes

6. LUX Aesthetic Clinic

LUX Aesthetic Clinic’s Thermage page includes a section on upper-eyelid sagging and Thermage Eye treatment. Its wider guide discusses treatment for mild to moderate skin laxity. Consultation should establish whether the concern is appropriate for a skin-tightening procedure and which area will be treated.

Before booking: Confirm that the quotation covers the eye area and discuss eye protection, expected benefit and follow-up.

7. IYAC Aesthetic Clinic

IYAC Aesthetic Clinic’s RF Eye Lift page describes treatment for early eyelid skin laxity and crepey texture. It explicitly states that the treatment cannot remove excess skin or fat and does not replace eyelid surgery. This makes the expected scope of a non-surgical consultation clearer.

Before booking: Ask whether the amount of excess skin makes a surgical assessment more appropriate than repeated tightening treatments.

Sources: RF Eye Lift

8. AEON Medical and Aesthetic Centre

AEON Medical and Aesthetic Centre’s eye-treatment page names Dr Jeslin Wong and describes radiofrequency skin tightening for the upper eyelid. It specifically discusses mild skin laxity and hooding. Its other eye-area treatments address different concerns, such as skin texture and hydration.

Before booking: Clarify which treatment addresses upper-eyelid hooding specifically and which proposed additions address separate concerns.

9. Cutis Medical Laser Clinics

Cutis Medical Laser Clinics publishes a guide distinguishing surface skin concerns from brow-related heaviness around the eyes. It discusses non-surgical brow lifting and skin-quality treatments as different approaches. A consultation should identify whether brow position, skin laxity or a separate eyelid condition is responsible.

Before booking: Ask whether the plan treats the brow or the eyelid skin and how true ptosis is excluded.

10. SL Aesthetic Clinic

SL Aesthetic Clinic’s SmoothEye Pro page describes laser treatment around the eyes, including the upper eyelid. It lists loose eye-area skin among the concerns addressed and explains the use of corneal shields. The page also identifies severe excess skin as a reason the treatment may be unsuitable.

Before booking: Confirm suitability for the upper eyelid, the likely number of sessions and the total treatment-course cost.

How this list is selected

This is a selected comparison, not an exhaustive directory. The surgical list comprises Singapore plastic surgery practices with published upper-eyelid surgery or ptosis information. The aesthetic list comprises clinics with published information about eyelid skin laxity, eye-area tightening or brow-related hooding. We consider the relevance and clarity of service information, practitioner details, suitability, limitations, aftercare and prices.

Positions reflect editorial judgement about the information available to someone considering a consultation. The two groups are not ranked against each other. No numerical scoring formula or independently audited comparison of patient outcomes is used. Missing information is a limitation, not evidence that a clinic is unsafe or a service is unavailable. Read our Editorial, Ranking and Funding Policy.

Published treatment prices

SL Aesthetic Clinic lists SmoothEye Pro from S$1,250 per session. This is an advertised starting price, not an individual quotation or a comparison of total treatment costs. Source: SmoothEye Pro Non-Surgical Laser Eye Bag Removal, checked 10 October 2026.

Confirm current fees, GST where applicable, consultation, eye protection, review appointments and the number of sessions. For surgery, request a written quotation covering the precise operation, surgeon, anaesthesia, facility, medication, follow-up and possible revision charges. Comparable all-inclusive surgical quotations were not established for this review.

Suitability and risks

A low eyelid margin needs assessment of the lifting mechanism and possible medical causes. Removing skin and tightening skin are different from ptosis repair. Non-surgical skin treatments should not be presented as a substitute for assessment of true ptosis, significant excess skin or visual obstruction. A plastic surgeon or an ophthalmologist with eyelid expertise can assess these concerns.

Surgery may involve bruising, swelling, scarring, asymmetry, dry-eye symptoms, incomplete closure or undercorrection or overcorrection. Further treatment may be needed. Eye-area radiofrequency treatment can cause heat-related tissue injury. Discuss the exact device, treatment area, eye protection and the clinician’s experience. Results and recovery vary.

Seek urgent medical assessment for sudden eyelid drooping, particularly with double vision, a severe headache or other new neurological symptoms. Funding and corrections

No clinic can pay for editorial inclusion or position, evidence grades or a favourable verdict. A paid profile is labelled “Sponsored enhanced profile” and adds factual practitioner, service, location and contact details.

To report a factual error, email Joy@laverneholdings.com with the clinic name, the passage concerned and a supporting source. Substantial corrections and ranking changes will be dated on this page.

Sources and limitations

View sources

Sources are identified by title beside each entry. Clinic details primarily reflect the practices’ own published information and do not independently establish treatment quality, complication rates or comparative outcomes. We did not audit patient results or verify every qualification against a professional register. Confirm current services, the treating clinician, suitability and fees directly before booking.

The aesthetic entries describe services for skin or brow concerns. Some clinic marketing uses “droopy eyelid” broadly; this does not establish that the treatment corrects true ptosis. This page distinguishes those concerns so that readers can seek an appropriate assessment.
