How Emface Eyes combines radiofrequency and muscle stimulation
Emface delivers two forms of energy simultaneously through adhesive pads placed on the skin. RF heats the dermis, the collagen-bearing layer beneath the skin surface, and the heat stimulates the formation of new collagen. HIFES induces repeated contractions of the muscles beneath, with the aim of improving muscle tone. The treatment involves no needles and leaves no visible wound.
- The eye applicator This small, shaped pad, added in 2024, covers the upper cheek and the area around the eye. It sits outside the orbital rim and is intended to stimulate the orbicularis oculi, the ring muscle that closes the eye, from below and beside it. It does not treat the lid itself.
- The face applicators The original forehead and cheek pads are the only applicators that have been studied.
- Clearance The 2024 US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance that added the eye applicator covered general skin stimulation and was granted without a clinical study, because this route of clearance rests on similarity to devices already on the market. A 2026 clearance summary mentions eye bags for this applicator in one comparison table but not in its indications statement, and again included no clinical data. The cleared wrinkle-reduction indication for Emface covers the forehead and cheek pads only.
Who Emface Eyes suits and whether it works for eye bags
- Suits Patients with fine crow’s feet and mild under-eye lines who want a needle-free course with no downtime and accept that the eye pad is unproven.
- EvidenceEvidence for eye bags, Grade D. Emface Eyes does not remove fat, and no study has measured an effect on eye bags. Fat bags are formed by orbital fat that bulges forward, and they respond to treatments that reduce or remove that fat, such as AGNES + Secret RF or scarless eye bag removal.
- Hooded or droopy eyelids The eye pad does not reach the upper lid. A forehead pad can lift the brow slightly, which may reduce mild hooding, but lax lid skin responds better to Thermage Eyes or surgery.
What the evidence says about Emface Eyes
- EvidenceEvidence for the eye applicator, Grade D. No peer-reviewed study has been published. The manufacturer’s registered trial of the area around the eye and the lower eyelid, with about 30 participants and an estimated completion date of December 2025, has posted no results. Any eye results quoted in marketing are therefore unpublished and cannot be independently checked.
- EvidenceEvidence for crow’s feet and brow, Grade C (indirect). In a 2025 manufacturer-funded study of 37 patients treated with the forehead pad, forehead lines and crow’s feet decreased and the brow rose by 2.3 to 3.2 mm at 24 weeks. In a second 2025 study, which was evaluator-blinded and declared no conflicts of interest, 15 Asian patients were treated with the forehead and cheek pads. Their brows rose by 1.31 mm at six months, and skin texture at the crow’s feet improved by 14% at three months.
- What this means for the eyes The face studies show an effect at the outer eye when the forehead pad is used. The eye pad, however, sits beneath and beside the eye, and its effect on under-eye lines is not yet known, because the manufacturer’s trial has not reported.
Emface results before and after, the timeline
- During the course Little visible change is usual during the first weeks, while new collagen and muscle tone develop.
- 1 month after the last session The overall lift of the treated areas peaked at this point in the Asian study.
- 3 to 6 months The overall lift partly faded, with the forehead lift falling from 2.14 mm to 0.67 mm, whereas the brow lift held at about 1.3 mm at six months. No study has followed Emface beyond six months, so the need for maintenance sessions and their timing are not established.
Emface Eyes price in Singapore (2026)
| Treatment | 2026 Singapore price |
|---|---|
| Emface full face, per session | S$1,200 to 1,600 |
| Emface full face, 4-session package | S$5,000 to 6,000 |
| Emface Eyes alone | No Singapore clinic publishes a price |
A quote for Emface Eyes should state whether the eye pad is added to a face session or sold separately, and how many sessions are included, because no clinic publishes a standalone eye price.
Emface procedure, sessions and downtime
- Treatment The adhesive pads are applied, and each session lasts about 20 minutes. The skin warms, and the underlying muscles contract and tighten in a rhythmic pattern.
- Comfort Pain in the Asian study averaged 3.5 out of 10 at the first session and fell to 1.6 by the fourth.
- Sessions The studies used four sessions a week apart, whereas the distributor lists four to six.
- Downtime No downtime is required, because the skin surface is not broken.
Emface Eyes side effects
- Common Warmth and temporary redness follow the RF heating, and muscle soreness can follow the repeated contractions.
- Serious No serious adverse events were reported in the face studies. The safety of the eye pad rests on the manufacturer’s data, because no eye-applicator study has been published.
Emface Eyes vs Thermage Eyes, Ultherapy, HIFU and Botox
| Emface Eyes | Thermage Eyes | Ultherapy | HIFU | Botox for crow’s feet | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| How it works | RF plus muscle stimulation | Monopolar RF | Focused ultrasound with imaging | Focused ultrasound | Relaxes the muscle |
| Evidence, eye area | D | B | B (brow), C (under-eye) | C | A |
| Sessions | 4, a week apart | 1 | 1 | 1 | Every 3 to 4 months |
| Downtime | None | 1 to 2 days | None to 1 day | None to 4 days | None |
| 2026 Singapore price | No published eye price | S$1,200 to 3,000 | S$400 to 1,200 | S$300 to 800 | S$90 to 600 per area |
Emface Eyes is the only option in this comparison with neither published eye-area evidence (Grade D) nor a published eye price, whereas Botox holds Grade A for crow’s feet. Thermage Eyes, Ultherapy and HIFU each require a single session, compared with four for Emface. Treatments for crow’s feet are compared on Crow’s feet treatment in Singapore, and treatments for under-eye lines on Sagging skin under eyes treatment.
Frequently asked questions about Emface Eyes
Does Emface work for the eyes?
The effect of the eye applicator is unproven, because it has not been studied in any published trial (Grade D). Studies of the forehead pad show softer crow’s feet and a brow lift of 1.3 to 3.2 mm, which is indirect evidence for the outer eye area.
Does Emface remove eye bags?
Emface does not remove eye bags. It acts on skin and muscle rather than on the fat that forms a bag, and no study has measured an effect on eye bags.
How much does Emface cost in Singapore?
A full-face Emface session costs S$1,200 to 1,600 in Singapore in 2026, and a four-session package costs S$5,000 to 6,000. No clinic publishes a separate Emface Eyes price.
How many Emface sessions are needed?
The published studies used four sessions of about 20 minutes, a week apart, whereas the distributor lists four to six.
Is Emface better than Ultherapy for the eyes?
No study has compared the two directly, but Ultherapy has the stronger evidence. Ultherapy has a Grade B brow-lift study, whereas the Emface eye pad has no published study. Emface involves no downtime but requires four sessions, compared with a single Ultherapy session.
